LANKA PROPERTY SHOW / 21 MARCH 2026Architecture, location and new ways to own a home
At Lanka Property Show 2026 on 21 March at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Ashinsanie Weerasinghe, Home Lands’ Head of Business Development and Marketing, presented the group’s resort-style residential portfolio. She highlighted Canterbury Golf City, Oceana Beach Resort Apartments and Villas in Wadduwa, and Pentara Residencies in Colombo, alongside retirement-living developments.
Across the presentation, the themes were design, location, property management and the experience of owning a home. Visitors were encouraged to explore options with the developer’s team.
Financing and the Mercedes-Benz draw
The speaker described flexible payment plans, with home-loan options offered to buyers. She also introduced the separate Home Lands Draw 2026: customers purchasing an eligible apartment or villa between 1 January and 31 December 2026 could have the opportunity to win a Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The draw was described as taking place in March 2027.

The presentation highlights Home Lands' continued focus on residential projects and customer promotions. The Mercedes-Benz promotion is a different programme from the historical apartment prizes awarded to Derana Dream Star winners.
